The Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association (PSBJJA) is a global network of affiliate academies with the goal of preserving and upholding the vision of Master Pedro Sauer.

Master Pedro Sauer was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He began training jiu-jitsu at the age of 15 along with his friend Rickson Gracie in the garage of Rickson’s family and together young Pedro Sauer and the Gracie boys learned jiu-jitsu from Rickson’s father, Grandmaster Helio Gracie. Master Sauer received his black belt from Rickson Gracie and Helio Gracie in 1985. He is one of only 16 black belts awarded by Grandmaster Helio Gracie.

In 1990, Master Sauer moved to California with the Gracie brothers as part of the first cohort of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructors in the United States. Shortly after coming to California, he moved to Utah where he continued to make his mark in the jiu-jitsu world by teaching and formed the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association. He remained in Utah for many years and grew his association to one of the oldest, largest, and most respected Associations in the world.

He is currently an 8th degree coral belt and travels the world teaching workshops and seminars. Master Sauer is well-known as one of the best jiu-jitsu instructors in the world.

  • Adopt A Cop

The goal of Adopt-A-Cop is to assign law enforcement officers to a family, group, or individual who will pray daily for them and send a note of encouragement, support and a thank you for their service to the community.

Imagine the powerful difference you can make in the lives of those who put their lives on the line for us everyday! While a bulletproof vest gives a level of protection for our law enforcement officers, an even greater blessing and shield of protection can be found in the power of a faithful, praying believer or group of prayer warriors.

  • Okinawa Isshin Ryu Kobu - Do Association

    The OIKKA

The Okinawa Isshinryu Karate Kobudo Association was established in 1990 by Master Angi Uezu. As of February 1st, 2007 Master Uezu has appointed Master Christopher Chase as his successor and President of the O.I.K.K.A. Master Uezu continues to play an active role in the organization and has taken the position of Chairman Emeritus and Special Advisor.

    What is Isshinryu Karate?

Isshinryu (one heart/one mind) formally introduced in 1953 by founding master Tatsuo Shimabuku of Okinawa, Japan. Soke Shimabuku studied Shorin-Ryu under Master Choki Motobu and later under Master Chotoku Kiyan (Shobayashi-ryu). He enhanced his study with Master Chojun Miyagi (Goju Ryu, breathing techniques) and furthered his study of the bo, sai, tonfa and nunchaku with Master Shinken Taira. Isshinryu utilizes a refined combination of the best of these styles and epitomizes the lightning fast techniques of Okinawan Karate and Kobu-Do.

    Goals of the OIKKA

To assist in the growth of the organization, so that more people may come to experience Isshinryu Karate in it's purest form

To continue promoting and teaching Isshinryu Karate under the guidance of Master Uezu and in the tradition that he has established

To conduct seminars and tournaments on an annual basis to help unify the membership

  • Chito Trained

My mission is to create stronger people. I believe a lot of people walk through life just waiting to be activated. Stacks of firewood awaiting to be ignited. They have no idea what type of inferno they are meant to be... How do you light that fire? Pushing yourself mentally and physically with training is that lighter, that match, that torch.. My goal is to be that catalyst.
